Fine Art covers many media forms. In the
Art Department at the University of Utah and the University of Montevallo where
I attended (both) art schools, a fine art degree; i.e., a BFA (or Bachelors of
Fine Art) included everything from airbrush painting to modern dance to music,
film studies, and theatre. Even Art History majors received a BFA when
they graduated.
My degree was in art photography, graphics +
computer graphics, commercial art, and advertising. But I also took many classes
in calligraphy, printmaking, design, sculpture, illustration, painting, and
airbrush. I liked design the best because it was so diverse and it allowed me to
mix all the above media into one finished piece.
These pages are samples of my work in fine art. I
hope to add more soon (as I get more of my work photographed and scanned).
