This is our photography portfolio. We have
over 500,000 images including scenery, food, sports and recreation, wildlife,
product advertising, architecture, and so much more. But that's just too many
photographs to display on a website, so we have selected the images that we like
best.
We have three professional photographers
that have degrees in Art
Photography and Photojournalism. We have four photographers that have worked as professional
studio photographers, sports and news photographers (for newspapers), fashion (for magazines), and product advertising (for ad
agencies). We also have experience with landscape (scenery) and wildlife
photography. But art photography is our passion.
Whenever
people discuss photographers, Ansel Adams is always mentioned.
And, admittedly, we were influenced by this man's incredible work. But we were
also influenced by the landscapes and textures of Edward Weston and Minor
White; the soft and beautiful images of Georgia O'Keefe and Imogen Cunningham,
the diversity and excellence of Margaret Bourke-White, and the amazing colors in
nature photographed by Eliot Porter.
Our mentors and favorites have always been the surreal and fantasy art
photographers such as Duane Michals and Jerry Uelsmann. Their work (all created
inside the camera and the darkroom) proves that you don't need a computer to
produce excellent photography. Some even believe that using a computer to
enhance your photos is cheating.
Some of us started out with old, completely
manual Minolta, Konica, or Nikon cameras. We developed and printed all of our own images, and used
only our skills with the lens and the darkroom to produce the work. However,
when Photoshop was released in the early 80s, that changed
everything!
Now we use every technique available to achieve our artistic goals, and
we love every minute of it! Take a look at the work and
enjoy the tour.
